Technical Lead | Step Up from Senior Developer

We’re partnering exclusively with a global retailer expanding its presence in Australia. This is a Technical Lead role, but they're happy for a strong Senior Developer to step up. You'll join a tight-knit team of six engineers, working closely with the Head of Engineering as their 2IC.

This is a brand-new project, fully signed off, and they want you in early to help shape the blueprint.

You’ll play a crucial role in shaping the project from the ground up, taking ownership from the initial planning stages through to delivery and ensuring it’s driven to successful completion.

There’s no rigid way of working. They need someone who can move fast while keeping an eye on quality and detail. If you’re the kind of person who brings fresh ideas and takes the lead rather than just following directions, this is the role for you.

You’ll get plenty of flexibility, hybrid working, autonomy in how you approach problems, and the chance to make a real impact. It’s a fast-moving, collaborative environment where engineers have the freedom to experiment and drive innovation. With AI and machine learning becoming a bigger focus, you’ll have opportunities to learn and work with the latest advancements in this space.
