Your responsibilities:
• Converting a computer vision and/or image signal processing algorithm into an FPGA implementation using System Verilog and Xilinx/Altera toolchains
• Optimizing FPGAs for timing closure
• Defining interface requirements for FPGAs in an imaging system context
• Building vendor-neutral FPGA/RTL designs intended to prototype ASIC implementations
• Collaborating in a team environment across multiple engineering disciplines
• Specification, implementation and testing of FPGA based real time video processing architectures
• Contribution to technical documentation
• Communication with external industry partners on a technical level
Your qualifications:
• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline is a plus
• Profound experience in modular, FPGA and system architecture definition and design
• Profound experience in one of FPGA Vendors: Xilinx/Altera parts, tool chains, System Verilog (is a big plus), Verilog or VHDL
• Knowledge of C for hardware bring up
• Experience in other languages like Python or Tcl
• Excellent English language skills, knowledge of German language considered as a plus
