Android/iOS Developer – Mobile Payments Solutions (FinTech)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain secure, scalable mobile applications for Android (Kotlin/Java) and/or iOS (Swift/Objective-C).
• Implement and enforce robust security measures to protect sensitive financial data, adhering to PCI DSS and industry standards.
• Integrate various payment APIs and SDKs (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) for smooth and secure payment processing.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and backend developers to craft seamless financial experiences.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and reliability in a high-traffic, transaction-heavy environment.
• Work within CI/CD pipelines to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes.
• Debug and resolve critical issues, ensuring uptime and smooth transaction experiences for users.
• Ensure applications comply with regulatory requirements and best practices in the payment industry.
• Participate in Agile development sprints, code reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3+ years in mobile app development, ideally within the FinTech, banking, or payment processing sectors.
• Technical Skills:
  
  • Android: Proficiency in Kotlin/Java with strong experience using the Android SDK.
  • iOS: Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C with experience using the iOS SDK.
  • Experience integrating payment gateways and APIs/SDKs (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
  • Strong understanding of PCI DSS security standards and mobile security best practices (encryption, tokenization, biometrics).
  • Familiarity with MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture to ensure maintainable and scalable code.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and WebSockets for real-time transaction processing.
  • Experience with mobile databases like SQLite, Room, Core Data, and Realm.
  • Version control experience using Git/GitHub/GitLab.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Fastlane, Bitrise).
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  • Experience with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native.
  • Knowledge of Jetpack Compose (Android) and SwiftUI (iOS).
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, PSD2, Strong Customer Authentication).
  • Background in real-time transaction processing and fraud prevention systems.
• Soft Skills:
  
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, especially in a high-stakes, security-focused environment.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, delivering high-availability mobile solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, particularly in Agile/Scrum teams.
