Security Operations Center Analyst

Here at Penta Consulting, we provide technology resource solutions to some of the world's leading IT companies. This role, working with one of these clients, is a remote SOC Analyst role based in Portugal. English speaking is a must.

Profile of Contractor:

• Experience in SIEM monitoring, incident triaging, and security incident management
• Ability to provide security remediation and advisory services
• Expertise in antivirus, IDS/IPS, Cyber Kill Chain, and MITRE ATT&CK
• Strong analytical skills and experience with cloud workloads (Azure, GCP, AWS)
• Proficiency in Azure Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Symantec antivirus, and Kusto query language
• Excellent communication skills

Deliverables:

• Regular reports on SIEM activities and incident management
• Security remediation recommendations
• Incident documentation and proactive detection improvements
• Process-based solutions to enhance security operations
