Are you passionate about building user-friendly, high-performance web and mobile applications? Our client, a global leader in the aviation and transportation industry, is looking for an experienced Senior Front-End Engineer to join their dynamic team. You’ll work on cutting-edge solutions using Angular and the latest front-end technologies, collaborating with developers and domain experts to create seamless digital experiences. This role offers 40% remote work, with offices based in Brussels.

Your Role & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain modern web and mobile applications using the latest Angular framework.
Create intuitive input and visualization screens, ensuring a smooth and engaging user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams of front-end and back-end developers, as well as domain experts.
Maintain consistency across projects by using shared libraries and a dedicated design system.
Work with REST APIs, JSON, and API contracts (OAS) to integrate front-end applications with backend services.
Ensure secure coding practices by following OWASP TOP 10 guidelines.

What We're Looking For

Extensive experience with Angular, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and Angular CLI.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS, SCSS, and cross-browser compatibility.
Experience with state management solutions in Angular such as NgRx or NGXS.
Knowledge of authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect).
Hands-on expertise with testing frameworks like Cypress, Karma, Jasmine, and Protractor.
Familiarity with browser troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
Experience working with design systems, Storybook, and Figma-based development.
Strong understanding of Git-based version control (Bitbucket preferred).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality code.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo).
Knowledge of mobile development (React Native, Flutter, iOS, Android).
Understanding of event-driven architectures and real-time communication using WebSockets.
Familiarity with Micro Frontend methodologies and other front-end frameworks like React or Vue.
Experience with Docker, UI/UX design, and modern DevOps practices.

Languages

English fluency required (Dutch is a plus).
