Full stack Mobile Developer (React Native & NodeJS)

Context

It is a young and innovative bank, traditionally relying on in-house developed IT systems. Our ambition is to enhance customer experience by leveraging modern solutions and refactoring our systems towards microservices and domain-driven architecture.

You'll join the CHAN Feature Team (Direct Channel), responsible for developing and continuously improving our mobile banking application. The team gathers and prioritizes requirements from various feature teams to maintain a consistent and innovative mobile platform.

Working with the client means broader responsibilities, direct customer impact, and active participation in technical and product decisions.

Your Role

As a Fullstack Mobile Developer, you will:

• Develop and implement innovative features for our mobile application using React Native.
• Contribute to the backend development (NodeJS with TypeScript) to support these mobile features.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical user stories and robust code.
• Collaborate daily in an agile (Scrum) environment, working closely with developers, business analysts, product owners, DevOps engineers, testers, and scrum masters.
• Actively participate in agile ceremonies (planning, stand-ups, demos, retrospectives) within two-week sprint cycles.
• Ensure the robustness, scalability, and maintainability of the codebase.

Your Profile

• 3-5 years of experience in professional software development.
• Strong expertise in React Native for mobile application development.
• Solid backend development experience with NodeJS/TypeScript.
• Comfortable working both independently and within agile teams.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn and share knowledge.

Required Technical Skills

Frontend:

• React Native with styled-components (main expertise required)
• React.js (strongly appreciated)
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Familiarity with React Native best practices and micro-frontend architecture

Backend:

• NodeJS in TypeScript (key experience required)
• Experience with modern ORMs (e.g., TypeORM)
• RESTful API design (OpenAPI/Swagger)

Bonus Points

• Native mobile development experience (Android/iOS)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Experience with react-navigation & app performance optimization
• Experience integrating native modules in React Native apps
