DevOps Engineer

Are you a senior software engineer with DevOps experience? Do you enjoy brainstorming new ideas with your team to create innovative solutions? Our client in Brussels is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to work in an environment that blends legacy systems with modern DevOps practices.

In this role, you’ll optimize and maintain a custom-built DevOps toolchain while collaborating with your team to design cutting-edge solutions. You’ll work with tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and Golang, facing challenges with a unique infrastructure that goes beyond traditional cloud-based setups.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain and optimize custom DevOps tools and workflows
• Work with modern DevOps technologies like Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Ansible
• Automate and improve deployment processes for both online and air-gapped environments
• Ensure security compliance in every step of the deployment pipeline
• Troubleshoot and optimize infrastructure and software
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance scalability, performance, and security

What You Bring:

• Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Experience with custom DevOps tools and traditional technologies (Git, Jenkins, Docker)
• Knowledge of air-gapped environments and secure deployment practices
• Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to new technologies
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Bonus Experience:

• Familiarity with Terraform
• Experience with non-cloud-native CI/CD principles
• Knowledge of government and defense security standards
