Role: Freelance Program Manager

Location: Brussels (hybrid/remote flexibility available)

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex, cross-functional programs within the financial services sector, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Define project scope, deliverables, and timelines, and ensure successful execution from initiation to completion.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including IT, operations, compliance, and finance, to drive project success.
• Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring transparency and accountability.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices and lessons learned.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience as a Program Manager or Senior Project Manager, preferably within the financial services or banking sector.
• Strong understanding of financial services processes, regulations, and industry trends.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
• Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
• Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch and/or French is a plus).
• A proactive, results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Availability to work on a freelance basis and commit to the project duration.
