Developer

I am Rait Vagula, head of the Web Platform & Digital Journeys development team at Telia.

We are looking for a full-stack developer with a strong back-end focus to join our team.

Your next challenge

Our Web Platforms development team is responsible for various back-end applications (different content management tools), APIs, and libraries utilized across digital environments (header, forms, etc.). This broad scope of responsibilities provides diverse opportunities and significantly impacts user experience.

We uphold high-quality standards and our development processes support us in delivering excellent outcomes.

We are looking for:

A passionate developer who enjoys building back-end and front-end applications that are user-friendly, well-documented, accessible, and perform well. We value curiosity - someone who frequently asks “Why?” to deeply understand requirements. You should be a strong team player with clear and transparent communication skills.

Experience:

• Very good knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, PostgreSQL
• Strong skills in creating and integrating APIs
• Good knowledge of React, Typescript
• Basic understanding of testing frameworks
• Basic understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines or eagerness to learn
• Basic understanding of how CI/CD pipelines work
• Knowledge of common web vulnerabilities and secure coding practices
  
  

Some of our existing applications are built with PHP (Laravel). While PHP experience isn't required, occasional tasks involving PHP may arise in your day-to-day work.
