Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile engineer to work on a variety of projects by identifying and developing platformization opportunities within the React Native technology stack. Our engineering stakeholders aim to deliver outstanding features without being burdened by dependency management, workflow setup, or reinventing existing functionality. As a result, our mission is to enhance the developer experience by enabling engineering teams to focus solely on product development.

About The Role

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will contribute to the platformization of our four React Native applications within the Bolt Food business. You will work across multiple domains, serving as a guiding force for mobile development.

The React Native platform team is a newly formed team responsible for maintaining and evolving core functionality in mobile development while ensuring seamless integration across product engineering teams. The team improves developer tools and supports a robust ecosystem for React Native engineers.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Working on Bolt’s mobile applications.
• Coding mostly in Typescript, React Native, and occasionally writing some native code for both Android and iOS.
• Extracting reusable UI components into the common libraries.
• Proactively fixing upcoming bugs and solving technical challenges.
• Participating in our product and technical roadmaps.
  
  
  

About you:

• You have a strong experience with React Native and Native mobile development.
• You have good English and communication skills.
• You have a solid understanding of data structure.
• You have experience with development for native platforms (iOS, Android), design tooling, continuous integration systems.
