As a Senior Java Developer at Iute Group, you will be at the heart of our Wallet team, designing and building the next generation of our payment platform. You’ll take part in crafting scalable, secure, and innovative fintech solutions used by millions of people across Europe. Your Key Responsibilities 

• Design and develop high-performance backend systems for our payment platform using Java and Spring Boot. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and front-end developers to implement features such as wallet functionality, transaction processing, and payment integrations. 
• Build and optimize systems capable of processing large transaction volumes with speed and reliability. 
• Integrate with external payment platforms and APIs (e.g., SEPA, SWIFT, banking partners), ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 
• Mentor junior developers, champion coding best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team. 
• Tackle complex challenges in payment processing, security, and scalability. 

What You`ll Bring 

• 5+ years of Java development experience, including strong skills with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data). 
• A solid background in building scalable, high-availability systems- preferably in payments or fintech. 
• Experience with microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and relational database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL). 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes). 
• Knowledge of SEPA/SWIFT payment systems, fintech compliance (PSD2), AML/KYC processes is a strong plus. 
• Bonus: understanding of front-end technologies like Vue.js or React. 
• Proactive problem-solving skills, a passion for clean code, and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.
