E-Lab'sinter-cultural teams' main objective is to establish a central competence centre for promoting ML driven innovation in Enefit across all markets and business categories. The Senior AI/ML Software Engineer will spearhead the development of innovative AI/ML applications within an agile team composed of talented software engineers and data scientists servicing the entire Enefit group of companies, focusing on backend development, cloud-native services, and extracting business value from machine learning integration.

You are a great match if you have:

• at least of 5 years of software development experience;
• proficiency in Python for building backend systems, particularly using frameworks such as FastAPI;
• containerization experience with Docker, and orchestration using Kubernetes;
• strong knowledge of cloud platforms;
• expertise in DevOps practices;
• strong ability to lead technical discussions, mentor junior developers, and foster a collaborative team environment;
• proficiency with other languages such as Java, C#, or Go to contribute to multi-language environments;
• great communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and product managers.

Location: Tallinn, partial remote work possibility.
