Senior Software Developer, Fullstack (Helsinki)

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer in our software development team in Elisa’s Digital Services unit.

Your position will be in our HQ at Pasila, Helsinki.

What the role is all about?

In this role you will join our multicultural team who is developing end to end processes and tools used by Customer operations and customer self-service tools enabling better customer care and service for all Elisa’s consumer customers. Our working environment is agile, and we are constantly looking for ways to improve our processes.

Your daily tasks consist of analyzing new ideas coming from the business translating them into software requirements and estimating the implementation cost and timetable.

One of your main duties is coding. Main tasks beside the actual coding will be refining new features and splitting the requirements into smaller stories, improving and maintaining codebase, performing code reviews and contribute test automation. You will actively participate team discussions, collaborate with cross-functional teams and evaluate technical solutions. You will write maintainable code and understandable documentation.

You’re eager to explore our codebase and to weigh our working methods and you know how to push things to be solved. You will stay updated on best practices in application development.

What do we expect from you?

• You have several years of solid experience in software development
• Java/Scala and JavaScript are very familiar to you
• You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• When needed you foster things proactively
• Good communication skills and fluency in English (written and spoken).
• You are team player who has experience working in an agile way
