Our client, a leading AI-driven technology company based in Zürich, is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join their dynamic team. Focused on delivering cutting-edge AI solutions across various industries, our client leverages advanced machine learning, data analytics, and automation to drive innovation and efficiency.

Role Overview:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and automation processes that support AI applications and services. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, software engineers, and operations teams to streamline development workflows, optimize deployment pipelines, and ensure the scalability and reliability of AI-driven solutions. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong background in cloud platforms, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines who is passionate about enabling AI systems to perform at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure the efficient deployment of AI models and software.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Oversee cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), ensuring scalability, security, and performance optimization for AI workloads.
• Utilize containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes to manage and scale AI applications in production environments.
• Collaborate with AI and data science teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of machine learning models.
• Set up and maintain monitoring and logging systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) for real-time insights into infrastructure performance and AI model health.
• Promote DevOps culture and best practices by driving automation, testing, and deployment strategies across teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related role, with a focus on supporting AI or data-driven applications.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
• Familiarity with machine learning workflows and AI infrastructure requirements is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Fluency in German is required.

Location: Zürich, Switzerland / Remote

Salary: CHF 120,000 – CHF 150,000 + Bonus + Benefits
