Senior Software Engineer (Fintech)

Our client, a Dublin based fintech is hiring for an experienced Senior Engineer. We're looking for strong problem solving skills. You will have clear examples of designing and delivering robust software applications that are scalable. The Senior Software Engineer will work collaborate with the product management department, UX/UI designers, and business stakeholders in defining requirements and delivering scalable solutions that meet our customer needs.

Requirements

You should apply if you have -

  • Demonstrable expertise in commercial software development, particularly with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL, along with a solid grasp of cloud computing principles.
  • Familiarity with AWS services (such as EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda) is preferred
  • Proven leadership skills, maybe you've led technical projects or helped mentor junior developers
  • Strong proficiency in agile methodologies and experience in agile development environments
  • Experience with SaaS (Software as a Service) products advantageous
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
