Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (Frontend)

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Type: Contract (12 months, potential extension)

Hybrid Work: 3 days in the office

About the Role

An industry-leading technology company is seeking experienced and motivated Software Engineers to join their agile development team. These roles involve working on cutting-edge payment solutions and maintaining high-performance web applications.

We are looking for

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex web applications using Angular and React.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend developers to create highly responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify and troubleshoot frontend issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
• Mentor and guide junior developers.

Requirements:

• Strong expertise in React & Angular, with a deep understanding of their ecosystems.
• Proven experience building complex web applications from scratch.
• Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Basic familiarity with Java programming is a plus.
