Our client is a global trading firm who are known as one the best companies top work for in Ireland. They have an immediate requirement for a C# Developer for a permanent position based in Dublin city centre on a hybrid basis.

About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that drive key business functions. This is an opportunity to work on innovative technology projects and contribute to the success of a dynamic organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop new software tools and enhancements to existing applications.
• Build solutions using C#/.NET, WPF, Angular, or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable software solutions.
• Contribute to all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Ensure high performance and stability of software systems through advanced coding techniques and engineering best practices.
• Work closely with technical and research teams to solve complex challenges.
• Maintain and improve existing applications to meet evolving business needs.
  
  

Experience/Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 6 years of experience developing software applications using an object-oriented language.
• Strong object-oriented design and implementation skills.
• At least 4 years of recent hands-on experience with C#/.NET or Java technologies.
• Experience with WPF or Angular is beneficial.
• Exposure to Complex Event Processing is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with technical and business teams.
• Ability to manage deadlines and perform well in a fast-paced setting.
