Software Engineer

AuxiliaGroup Recruitment are currently hiring a Software Engineer on behalf of our client, a recently established company within the aviation sector. This is a permanent opportunity based in Dublin. The role with offer a hybrid working model.

Role:

• Contribute towards the design, development, and deployment of scalable web
• applications and cloud-based solutions.
• Drive the development of high-quality software, ensuring best practices in coding,
• architecture, and security.
• Follow industry best practices in software engineering, including Agile, DevOps,
• and cloud-native development.
• Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that software solutions are aligned with customer needs and business
• objectives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in a Software Engineering position
• Strong proficiency in Python or other modern programming languages.
• Have an understanding of cloud-based platforms, security, and architecture.
• Strong database background, including cloud databases and ORM frameworks.
• Experience in developing web applications and APIs.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and Agile development
• methodologies.
• Previous experience in aviation, finance, or data-driven SaaS is beneficial but not
• required.
