Our client is seeking an Senior Information Security Analyst to support the day-to-day information security operations and enhance our overall security posture. This role is vital in increasing threat awareness across the organisation, providing clear and actionable risk management advice, and leading security training and awareness initiatives for employees.


The ideal candidate will take ownership of our security awareness training programs and phishing simulation campaigns, ensuring that all employees are well-equipped to recognise and respond to security threats. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in cyber security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think critically about emerging threats.



Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance daily information security operations.
  • Increase cyber threat awareness across the organisation by providing clear and practical risk management guidance.
  • Lead and manage security awareness training programs for employees.
  • Oversee phishing simulation campaigns and analyse results to improve awareness.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate security vulnerabilities across various platforms, including web, mobile, and cloud-based environments.
  • Work closely with IT and other departments to implement best practices for system hardening and secure networking.
  • Stay ahead of evolving security threats and think like a hacker to anticipate and prevent potential attacks.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CEH, CRISC, CISA, CISSP
  • Minimum of three years of experience in cyber security within a midsize or large organisation.
  • Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities, system hardening, and networking principles.
  • Experience with web, mobile, and cloud security best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey security concepts to non-technical staff.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, logic, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
