Project Manager - Global Project Team - Galway

They are seeking a Global Sourcing Technical Project Manager .

The job:

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the Operations portion of new product development projects, VIPs, site transfers, acquisition integrations and other manufacturing project initiatives associated with third party manufacturing.

Multiple projects of various sizes will be handled simultaneously by the PM, which will include leading cross functional teams. ​

Key Responsibilities:

• Effectively communicate cross-functionally and provide technical guidance to cross-functional team members.
• Assemble the cross functional resources required to drive project completion.
• Identify, coordinate, and ensure completion all activities required to for an assigned project or task while confirming current policies and best practices.
• Ability to prioritize projects and activities based on business need, timing, and financial risk.
• Ensure manufacturability of products transferred into production using various tool kits, work instructions and best practices.
• Create project tracking plans, schedules, and risks for projects and communicate across the organization as applicable.
• Delegate and manage tasks among team members as appropriate to their skill level and risk to the project.

Ideally you will have:

• 7+ years engineering experience (manufacturing, process development or related)
• Level 8 Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in engineering
• Strong organization and execution skills will be required, as well as a demonstrated ability to confidently handle the top responsibility for project completion
• 3+ years of relevant project management experience in Operations or Development either leading projects or as a team member leading significant segments of projects
• Experience in working with external suppliers or as a supplier to large customers.
