Data Labeling Team Lead

We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented Team Lead to join our growing Data Innovation team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading small teams towards successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Team Leading: Lead and mentor a teamof data labeling specialists, including setting goals, providing feedback, and maintaining high engagement and morale
Collaborate: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Data Scientists, Software Engineers, Product Managers) to identify and refine data preparation requirements
Quality control: Oversee quality control processes to uphold data accuracy, consistency, and efficiency standards
Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation outlining labeling procedures, guidelines, and best practices
Project tracking: Track and report on team progress and performance metrics, ensuring deadlines and project objectives are met
Improve processes: Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the labeling operations

Requirements

2+ years of experience in small team management, with demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
1+ years of project management experience, showing a track record of delivering on project goals
Proven collaboration skills for successfully working across different departments or organizational units
Bachelor's degree (Master's degree is a plus)
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively coordinate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with data annotation tools and AI/machine learning workflows is a plus
