iOS Developer (Contract-Based)

🙌 We are currently looking for an iOS Developer to join us on a contract basis for a fixed-term technical project. The project aims to replace the map provider in our mobile application. This is not about building new user-facing features but about improving and strengthening the application infrastructure to ensure a smooth and high-quality transition to a new solution.

🦾 As an iOS Developer, You will:

• Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features;
• Work with external data sources and APIs;
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability;
• Fix bugs and work on performance improvements;
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

👀We expect You to have: 

• 4+ years of experience in iOS app development;
• Strong knowledge of Swift;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and JSON data;
• Deep understanding of iOS base frameworks (UIKit, CoreLocation, CoreData, StoreKit, Foundation, SQLite, Metal);
• Familiarity with full mobile development life cycle;
• Experience with version control systems (Git);
• Knowledge of noSQL databases;
• Ability to design and implement scalable, efficient, and maintainable app architectures;
• Experience dealing with performance issues and debugging memory leaks;
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest iOS releases and Swift language changes;
• Experience with concurrency and memory management.

☀️Project scope & compensation:

• Estimated workload: 430–550 hours
• Compensation depends on experience and agreement; budget range: 19,300–30,500 EUR
