Project Description

The project focuses on consolidating and modernizing the application, integrating existing components into a unified system using Java and Spring Boot. The client currently operates a hybrid architecture, with newer Spring Boot services alongside legacy Groovy/Grails components. The goal is to fully migrate to Java, improving performance, maintainability, and user experience while leveraging AWS cloud services for scalability.

What You'll Do

• Develop new features and services while assisting in the migration of Groovy/Grails components to Spring Boot;
• Reverse-engineer existing Groovy code to integrate it into the new system;
• Ensure high code quality, maintaining adherence to best practices for all newly developed code;
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead to implement industry best practices in software development;
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure smooth integration with CI/CD pipelines, including SAST and DAST security checks;
• Optimize database queries and integration with Oracle DB or other SQL-based databases;
• Enhance system performance and scalability using AWS services such as Lambda, Elasticsearch, and Redis;
• Coordinate with Front-End developers (AngularJS) to ensure smooth back-end integration and data flow;

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in enterprise-level software development;
• Strong expertise in Java 11+ and Spring Boot;
• Experience with microservices architecture and designing scalable applications;
• Hands-on experience with Oracle DB or any SQL-based database;
• Practical knowledge of AWS services for cloud-based development;
• Ability to analyze user requirements, create use cases, and develop effective solutions;
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs;
• English proficiency from B1+ for effective team collaboration and client communication;
