Job Description
The Daily Data Monitoring squad within the Finance Tribe at Danske Bank, situated under Group Finance in the CFO area, specializes in generating daily profit/loss reports for trading areas. The global team is based in Vilnius and Copenhagen and experiences interaction with partners across Lithuania, Denmark, and other Nordic countries.
Comprised of expert finance and data professionals, the squad is focused on personal growth and technical enhancement. By employing tools such as Python, SQL Server, and Excel, members are actively involved in developing, automating, and optimizing financial reporting solutions, alongside conducting detailed analyses of financial products traded on the markets.
The working atmosphere is characterized by a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation, with a casual yet focused environment aimed at continual professional development. This role caters to individuals keen on intertwining technical skill with deep financial insights within an international context.
The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
You will:
Monthly salary range from 2800 EUR to 4200 EUR gross (based on your competencies relevant for the job).

- Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority for the role.
You will:
- Be building and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to support data aggregation and reporting
- Be conducting thorough data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across reports
- Be creating detailed financial reports to assist in daily trading decisions and profitability analysis
- Be using automation techniques to streamline and enhance data workflows
- Be optimizing existing reporting and data processing techniques to improve efficiency and performance
- Be collaborating with global stakeholders to collect requirements and deliver impactful solutions
- Be analyzing the financial performance of products traded on the markets to provide actionable insights
- A strong foundational knowledge in finance or accounting, with a keen interest in financial markets and products
- Experience in the financial sector, working with financial products would be beneficial
- Proficiency in, or willingness to learn, reporting tools such as Excel, SQL Server, Python, and others
- Motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively interacting with both technical teams and business stakeholders globally
- Strong numerical acumen and a strong foundation in data analysis and interpretation
- Advanced English skills, both in verbal and written communication
- Capability to manage changes in a dynamic environment, with enthusiasm for learning and professional progression
