Role purpose
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Accountant to support the financial operations of the firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with some accounting experience to develop their skills in a dynamic and international environment.

Role and responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting & Control in preparing financial statements and reports.

  • Perform general ledger accounting and ensure accuracy of financial records.

  • Reconcile bank statements and manage accounts payable and receivable.

  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Maintain and update accounting records and files.

  • Provide support during audits and tax filings.

  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

  • Collaborate with the Senior Accountant on various financial projects and tasks

Key requirements

  • You obtained a Bachelor in Accounting or a Master in Business Management with a financial and/or accounting focus

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in Luxembourg

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and under tight deadlines

  • Knowledge of the tax environment (both European and Luxembourgish)

  • An experience in audit or accountancy firm is an asset

  • You are perfectly bilingual in French and have a good command of English, both written and spoken.

  • You are self-motivated, a quick learner, ready to go for the extra mile.
