We are now looking for a Marketing Data Analyst for a consulting assignment with our client in the retail industry. This role, based in Stockholm, offers a hybrid working model with two days per week from home/remote. The assignment will run full-time from November 4, 2024, to May 31, 2025, where you will play a key role in driving data-driven decisions and improving business outcomes.
About the role:
As a Data Analyst, you will work within cross-functional teams, leading the data analysis process from start to finish. You’ll transform raw data into insights that influence marketing, sales, and customer engagement strategies. Collaborating with business stakeholders, you will help define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) while building and maintaining analytics products to support decision-making.

For this assignment you will be hired as a full-time consultant by Digitalenta. Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify strategic challenges requiring data-driven decision support.
- Drive data-driven decision-making within your initiative or product team by translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
- Build, maintain, and enhance analytics tools to support business strategies and performance evaluation.
- Manage the full analysis process, from problem definition, data extraction, cleaning, and visualization, to presenting actionable insights.
- Define, set up, and manage measurable KPIs and OKRs, ensuring their visualization for value reporting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to address diverse business challenges using data analytics.
- Support a variety of departments, including marketing, sales, merchandising, and finance, through your analytical expertise.
- Engage with the broader analytics community within the organization to share knowledge and best practices.

Experience and skills:
- Strong understanding of marketing channel attribution models (MTA, MMM) and the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Proven experience with data analysis platforms such as Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, etc.
- Expertise in data integration/ETL tools like Adverity, Dataddo for aggregating data across platforms.
- Familiarity with digital advertising strategies and performance measurement across paid media channels.
- Academic background in a quantitative field (economics, business, engineering, statistics, finance, or similar).
- Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex data for senior and non-technical audiences.
- Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with analytical tools such as Power BI, Looker Studio, and programming languages like Python or R.
- Previous experience with cloud data analytics stacks (Azure, GCP) and advanced Excel functions.
- Fluent in English.
