Business Intelligence Analyst

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our Commercial team at GlobalConnect. In this role, you’ll analyze data, develop models, and create clear recommendations to support business strategies. You’ll work closely with Business Managers, Product Managers, and others to ensure our decisions are backed by actionable insights. Whether you’re reviewing trends, preparing reports, or delivering presentations, your input will direct the way we move forward as a company.

About The Role

As a Business Analyst, your day-to-day work will focus on analyzing a large variety of data sets, developing financial models, and presenting your findings in a way that makes decision-making easier. You’ll be at the heart of our decision-making process, collaborating with a skilled team to guide key business strategies and initiatives.

On a typical day, you might:

• Collaborate with Business Managers to turn data into insights that guide key decisions.
• Build financial models to simulate business scenarios and evaluate opportunities.
• Conduct market research and analyze trends to find new opportunities for growth.
• Use Power BI or similar tools to visualize and present data clearly and intelligibly.
• Deliver professional, persuasive presentations in PowerPoint, tailoring your insights for stakeholders at every level.
  
  

This is a key role where you’ll also need practical problem-solving skills to work through tasks like managing large datasets, ensuring models meet business needs, and navigating a shifting industry environment.

To Be Proficient in This Role, You’ll Need:

• Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role such as management consultant—backgrounds in telecom, real estate, or other relevant industries are beneficial.
• Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex data, identify trends, and draw actionable conclusions using Excel (advanced level); experience with Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Notable presentation skills, with the ability to create clear and meaningful insights using PowerPoint or other storytelling methods.
• Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken.
