We are looking for a Network Planner to oversee the Decommissioning (Decom) of active and passive telecom infrastructure in Norway, driven primarily by the copper close down.

We are looking for a Network Planner to oversee the Decommissioning (Decom) of active and passive telecom infrastructure in Norway, driven primarily by the copper close down.
Responsibilities
- Manage network planning for the Norway Decom project.
- Coordinate and order work from contractors, ensuring effective planning and execution of technical tasks.
- Collaborate with the project manager and the team to ensure project objectives are met.
- Coordinate with the Network Operation Center and client-facing teams.
- Overcome challenges related to managing complex subprojects while adhering to scope, time, and budget constraints.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in large telecom network projects.
- Expert knowledge of optical fiber and WDM networks.
- Expert knowledge of IP networks with preferred knowledge of DSL networks.
- Project experience in planning, rebuilding, and/or decommissioning.
- Experience in project management.
- Understanding of field engineering contractors’ tasks.
- Norwegian citizenship is required to access information about critical infrastructure.
- The project team will consist of employees, consultants, and contractors.
- Starting with 30-40%, up to 100 % from Septembe
- Both Remote and on premises
