AWS/DevOps/Kubernetes/Jenkins

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking an AWS/DevOps/Kubernetes/Jenkins in Westlake, TX. Duties Include:

• Configuring and deploying applications in a public cloud like Azure/AWS
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins
• Building and managing cloud platforms (i.e., Kubernetes with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement)
• Hands on with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment and support
• Designing, creating and deploying automated processes to install, upgrade and rehydrate Kafka platforms in public cloud environment
• On-call support, resolving incidents and release management practices
  
  

Requirements

• Strong Unix/Linux knowledge and experience in configuring and deploying applications in a public cloud like Azure/AWS
• Very strong understanding and practical experience with implementing Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or ARM
• Expertise and hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitHub, Artifactory and Jenkins
• Proven knowledge and experience of building and managing cloud platforms (i.e., Kubernetes with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement)
• Hands on experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment and support
• Experience in designing, creating and deploying automated processes to install, upgrade and rehydrate Kafka platforms in public cloud environment
• Excellent analytical skills to triage and resolve production issues and outages
• Experience with on-call support, resolving incidents and release management practices
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• Very strong technical capability and passionate about learning new technologies and cloud trends
• Experience and willingness to work in globally distributed agile teams
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
