Junior User Experience Designer

• Play a key role in projects by being responsible not only for designing outcomes but also participating in client conversations
• Perform hands-on work in projects, both at early concept stages & during detailed end-to-end implementation
• Support business development, including shaping &  presenting proposals to potential clients
• Mentor, support & inspire other designers, some of whom will report to you. Share your knowledge on UX/UI methods, tools & trends with your colleagues in the BLR studio & around the world & help others grow
• Develop our digital design capabilities, pushing the boundaries of the discipline & defining our standards of quality
• Work in close contact with adjacent disciplines: design research, service design, business design & technology
• Collaborate with other Designits, clients, business, & technology experts to deliver high-quality products & services
• Scope, plan & lead UX activities from initial requirements to concept, interaction design & development. Produce storyboards, scenarios, user flows, wireframes, design prototypes & UI specifications

• 1+ years of relevant UX experience (above internship) in end to end user research, journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping & design systems
• Worked in top-notch team/collaboration skills
• Excellent written & verbal comm skills
• Attention to detail & follow-through
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in design from design Institutes like NID, MIT, Pearl, Srishti, Pearl, Symbiosis, NIFT, etc
• A problem solver with ideas that challenge the ordinary, together with the drive - & the guts – to bring them to life.
• Experienced in scoping, planning, & leading UX activities from initial requirements to concept, interaction design & development 
• Confident translating flows & user journeys into builds – naturally building IA & UX thinking into your design process 
• Experienced in managing design-work as a project manager – timelines, deliverables, milestones, review schedules, governance etc.
• Master of your toolbox: Designing in Adobe Suite, making it move in After Effects & prototyping in XD, Figma, InVision & Principle. Deep understanding of dominant design systems, UI patterns, & UI technologies
• A strong facilitator & presenter, able to build client confidence & push to make change happen 
• Someone with a ‘here to help’ attitude, who absolutely, fundamentally believes that we’re better together
