Our Data Platform suite includes software such as Tableau, Alteryx, PowerBI, and Data Services, all hosted on the Azure platform.

The Business Applications Operations (BAO) team supports the Data Platform suite, including application upgrades, serving a large number of territories around the world. A global engineer is responsible for the technical implementation of critical business applications for our DP Portfolio, serving a number of PwC network firms. Responsibilities include complex deployment projects, innovation, process improvements, and incident resolution, while offering business value with a focus on service quality and agility.

A team player who can interact, share, communicate, and collaborate with members of the Data Platform Global team, both technical and non-technical, as well as other global teams such as the global development team and territory IT. They work effectively to overcome complexities, resolve issues, and deliver quality service.

Job Description & Summary:

As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for facilitating and leading agile practices within the team to ensure effective collaboration and efficiency. You will guide the team through the agile development process, handle DevOps ticket management, and support team management activities. You will also liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies.
• Manage Azure DevOps and DevOps ticketing systems to ensure smooth workflow and task tracking.
• Serve as a coach and mentor to team members in agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to define and refine project scope.
• Support the team in identifying and removing impediments to ensure continuous progress.
• Ensure the team adheres to agile principles and Scrum best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Provide regular updates on team progress and project status to stakeholders
  
  
  

Mandatory Skill Sets:

• Proven experience with Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of DevOps ticket management.
• Excellent team management and leadership skills
  
  
  

Preferred Skill Sets:

• Certifications in Scrum Master, SAFe Agile, or SAFe Scrum Master.
• Experience working in a scaled agile environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
