Full Stack Engineer/Developer - 6 months

The role reports to Head of Technology and Architecture and responsible for design, development, and maintenance of web applications. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality, scalable, and user-friendly software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product owner, Scrum Master, Development, and testing teams to design, implement, and maintain web applications from conception to deployment, utilizing React for the front-end, Python Django/Flask for the back end.
• Create responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience across different devices and browsers.
• Design, implement, and optimize server-side functionality using Django, including database modelling, API development, and server-side logic to support front-end interactions.
• Integrate external systems and services through RESTful APIs, SOAP Web services ensuring data exchange and interoperability between various components of the application.
• Conduct thorough testing of the application, including unit tests, integration tests, and support end-to-end testing, to ensure high-quality, bug-free code.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in both front-end and back-end components, ensuring optimal speed and efficiency of the application.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate and implement new features and improvements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for the codebase, APIs, and application architecture, facilitating knowledge sharing and future development.
• Implement security best practices to protect the application from potential threats and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously enhance skills and contribute to the improvement of development processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Full-stack Developer with expertise in React (Type Scripts), Python Django/Flask and Node.Js.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related libraries, preferably Tailwind or Material UI
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP Webservices, experience in integrating external services.
• Solid knowledge of database design across SQL and NoSQL (Azure Cosmos or MongoDB) using ORMs (e.g., Django ORM).
• Experience in developing Cloud native applications in Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Power platform.
• Good working knowledge of OAuth 2.0, Open ID Connect and SAML 2.0 frameworks.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment and deliver projects on time.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of Azure API Gateway, Azure B2C and Azure AD Integration.
• Knowledge of Caching services (e.g. Redis).
