Senior Network Engineer

We are looking for a ''Senior Network Engineer" for one of our global business partners, which is one of the world’s largest independent commodities trading houses by turnover, creating logistics solutions that safely and efficiently move physical energy from where it is sourced and stored to where it is demanded most.

Qualifications

• Having a bachelor's degree,
• Minimum 6+ years experience in information systems infrastructure, technologies and solutions,
• Experienced in the following technologies;
  
  

Network Protocols (STP, ARP, DHCP, DNS and DNS management, IPSec); Geo-location technologies; Switching; Routing and Routers technologies; Web Proxy management; Fortinet firewalls; SSLVPN remote gateway technologies; WAN optimisation; Load Balancers; Wifi Technologies,

• Fluent in English (spoken and written),
• Experience of being part of global projects,
• Willing to work in a multicultural environment,
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills,
• Enjoys teamwork, open to learning and follows up to date technologies using research skills.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Analyze and solve problems across multiple technologies,
• Analyze and report network performance,
• Monitor the global network eco-system to ensure issues are addressed to maintain SLA’S,
• Ensure that all responsibilities surrounding IT ownership, such as product development, design, and documentation, are addressed,
• Design and perform installation of new sites,
• Provide architectural insight and possible improvements that could be made,
• Ensure that systems are managed per established SLA (Service Level Agreement),
• Be a technical resource on global and regional projects.
