VASS BeNeLux, in partnership with the European Commission, is currently seeking a Project Manager to work for the European Commission.

The role:

• Plan and implement quality strategies and initiatives in the frame of application support for internal support agents to reach overall KPI-based quality objectives.
• Monitor overall application of best practices, internal rules and processes
• Raise and promote awareness about internal rules and good practices within the application support team. Organise ad hoc presentations and training.
• Give proposals for quality improvement strategies and initiatives and for the improvement of monitoring tools and reporting. This includes proposals for internal process changes.
• Plan and implement internal process changes, with the TL and DTL in the domain of Incident management, Problem management and Service Desk organisation.
• Manage the follow-up of tickets that breach, format & interpret statistics and reporting data. With EA, follow-up on ticket resolutions in time
• Produce report to management on KPIs and present it to management
• Carry out different tasks on behalf of team management or as management backup
• Handle time-critical requests for a “green light” on actions of other teams or sectors in the fields of business, development and communication
• Collaborate with the reporting tool experts to implement report changes, KPI changes, etc. Collaborate with the Application experts on all applications, KPIs and key indicators as well as follow-up

You have:

• At least 4 years of specific expertise in JIRA
• At least 4 years of specific expertise of ITIL
• At least 4 years of specific expertise with Office tools
• Proven experience in the usage of ServiceNow for the management of tickets and for the use of Dashboard and KPIs
• Good knowledge of project management standards and methodologies
• Good knowledge of information systems matters; good knowledge of corporate systems for contract management in the European Commission: eProcurement, eGrants, Compass Corporate, eTendering and PPMT would be an asset.
• Knowledge of project lifecycle management and public procurement procedure in the cooperation development field.
• Good knowledge of ITIL processes and practices (Incident mgt, Problem mgt, Service Desk) Good knowledge of Wiki and collaborative sites.
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodology
• Practical knowledge of project management tools e.g. Confluence and JIRA.
• Ability to give good quality presentations to business-oriented audiences; good communication skills
• Service oriented mindset
• Ability to participate in business and technical meetings
• Ability to participate in multi-lingual meetings.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
