Job Description

We are seeking a Network Systems Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and management of network infrastructures for a new building project.

  • The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in network technologies, project management methodologies, and a proactive approach to ensuring optimal network performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy network systems for the new building project, adhering to best practices and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, actively participating in planning, meetings, and technical discussions related to network infrastructure.
  • Evaluate and monitor network scalability to ensure compliance with capacity planning and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related technical issues, manage upgrades, patches, and system maintenance, and coordinate with vendors and support teams.
  • Implement security measures to protect network systems and ensure compliance with security protocols.
  • Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, ensuring seamless integration with EIB Group’s overall disaster recovery strategy.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets for the network infrastructure of the new building.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • University degree (Bachelor’s or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and network project delivery (LAN, WLAN, MAN).
  • network technologies, particularly wired and wireless networks based on Cisco.
  • IT Project Management methodology (e.g., PM2, PMI, PRINCE2, SCRUM).
  • network security principles and experience in implementing security protocols.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
