Electrical Lead Engineer

A Snapshot of Your Day

As an electrical designer with us, you will work alongside dedicated and knowledgeable colleagues with broad expertise in the paper, pulp, and energy industries. The position is located in one of our offices in Seinäjoki or Espoo, and you will report to the department's project manager.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• We are looking for someone with extensive technical expertise in electrical design who wants to deepen their technical knowledge in their work. In your role, you will take full responsibility for your area of work as well as for customer projects.
• Your main tasks will involve being responsible for design and technical issues in customer projects regarding various types of systems found in industrial plants, such as high and low voltage switchgear, motors, frequency converters, and automation equipment.
• Preparing cost estimates and providing technical support to the sales side may also be part of your duties. Much of the work takes place at the customer's facilities, so travel is required for the position.
• Communication and collaboration both internally and externally are among the most important parts of the assignment.
  
  
  

What You Bring

• You are a civil, engineer with a few years of work experience in electrical power, electrical design, and/or electrical and auxiliary power equipment.
• You have several years of work experience in similar or related tasks. You are driven and motivated by working with advanced technology and want to expand your knowledge and deepen your technical expertise.
• Experience with database-based design tools is an advantage.
• You have excellent collaboration skills and a relationship-building approach as the position involves contacts with customers and subcontractors.
• You express yourself well in both spoken and written English and Finnish.
• As a person, you are creative, analytical, enjoy challenges, and have a strong self-motivation.
• You approach tasks in an organized way and are dedicated to finding solutions.

We are a unit with approximately 35 employees working on project deliveries within industrial automation, IT, and drive systems, primarily in the paper and pulp industry but also in the production of fossil-free fuel.

Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer base, a global network, diverse technologies, and integrated execution capabilities.
