Our work involves collaborating with customers in the motorcycle industry, but your love for great design is what matters most.

As a Junior Product Designer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the creation and maintenance of our design system for the companion apps of KTM, Husqvarna, and GasGas. You'll collaborate with experienced designers to ensure consistency across components, contribute to the documentation of design patterns, and assist in refining and testing design elements that directly impact user interactions. Your work will help create a seamless and cohesive experience for users across all platforms.

What You Will Do

• Assist in the design and documentation of adaptable UI components that allow for brand-specific customizations while adhering to universal design principles.
• Implement and rigorously test components for robustness and accessibility across web, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Provide design guidance to product teams and develop resources to support the adoption of the Nitro Design System (NitroDS).
• Conduct user research and testing to gather insights that inform and validate your design decisions.
• Create visually appealing UI components and develop interactive prototypes for new features.
• Develop and enhance documentation for design foundations, ensuring clarity and adherence to style guidelines.
• Use data and feedback to drive ongoing enhancements to user experience and component effectiveness.
• Keep teams informed about NitroDS updates and share success stories to promote best practices.

What we expect

• A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic understanding of UX design principles and experience with design systems.
• Familiarity with mobile-based products and eagerness to learn more about UX processes.
• Experience or understanding of basic coding principles in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, essential for working with design tokens and the overall design system.
• Knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Miro, or similar.
• An eye for well-conceived components and smooth user flows.
• Willingness to work in an agile, cross-functional team and contribute ideas.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design principles and decisions to stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English; German is a plus but not required.
• A proactive and flexible mindset, along with a hands-on approach and a sense of initiative.

Collective agreement

According to the collective labour agreement, the gross monthly salary is EUR 3.077,00. We are of course prepared to pay more depending on experience and skills.
