Sigmar are exclusively partnered with a leading global firm seeking a Senior Manager of New Product and Propositions to develop and deliver key strategic priorities for the consumer segment to accelerate growth.

Success in this role requires a creative and strategic thinker who prioritizes the customer to design, develop, and deliver outstanding new products and propositions to the market.


Responsibilities

  • Drive a customer-centric culture within your team.
  • Lead a team with a pioneering mindset to identify strategic opportunities for differentiation within a 12-24 month horizon. Foster a curious mindset, leveraging long-term customer and global insight trends to create a differentiated NPD roadmap.
  • Monitor competition and understand their customer offerings to recommend new products, propositions, and services that create a point of difference.
  • Serve as the business owner for the new product and propositions process end-to-end, ensuring its effective operation.
  • Play a key role in setting commercial priorities for new IT delivery processes with Technology and IT Partners. Utilize influencing skills to ensure the new product and proposition roadmap aligns with commercial strategic objectives.
  • Maintain end-to-end accountability for the discovery, definition, and delivery of the new propositions roadmap.
  • Act as the immediate business owner for new proposition roadmap items post-launch until ready for handover to the commercial team.
  • Define project-specific criteria for post-launch handover and the necessary measurements to facilitate it.
  • If handover requires a new team, define the in-life structure needed to support it.


Skills and Experience

  • Extensive work experience (10+ years) with a strong track record as a growth leader.
  • Over 5 years of experience in new products and propositions, including development, execution, consulting, or management. Proven success in delivering products/propositions or growing strategic partnerships.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to lead teams through complex challenges to execution.
  • Strong project/team leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coach individuals.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Commercially minded with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ambitious, passionate leader driven by the impact created.
  • Exceptional communication skills, particularly in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong experience in leading and delivering multiple complex projects, including comms planning, creative, media, through-the-line execution, and effectiveness measurement.
