Senior Data Engineer (Luxembourg)

YOUR ROLE

You will be in charge of the data migration. You have a deep knowledge in cloud-based data solution. Your role involves understanding data architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring a seamless transition of data workloads.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive migration strategy.
• Analyze existing pipelines, data models, and workloads to identify challenges and dependencies.
• Migrate data models, SQL pools, data lakes, and pipelines to Fabric with minimal disruption to the business.
• Ensure that ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows are properly re-engineered or migrated to Fabric.
• Work with data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence teams to ensure smooth transition of data workloads.
• Document migration processes, configurations, and architectures for future reference and troubleshooting.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong knowledge of AWS environment such as Glue, S3, Redshift.
• Experience with Microsoft Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric is an asset.
• Practical knowledge of SQL.
• Good capacity to communicate with technical and no-technical persons.
• Fluent in French, good command in English is required.
• 5+ years university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field + at least 5 years of professional experience.
