Then come and join our global team as Country Managing Director Romania to develop our business and drive growth in this expanding market

  • The role requires residency in Romania*

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for driving the country business in alignment with our Zone strategy, ensuring profitable growth and strong market positioning.
  • You oversee business areas, ensuring revenue growth in In-Vivo diagnostics (€70-80M per annum) and optimizing operational performance.
  • You lead and develop a team of approximately 90 employees, fostering a modern and collaborative work environment following a period of traditional leadership.
  • You implement an optimal commercial strategy for sales and service, ensuring Siemens Healthineers’ continued market expansion in Romania.
  • You establish and maintain high-level relationships with government bodies, healthcare providers, and key stakeholders within the Romanian healthcare system.
  • You manage the legal and financial performance of the business, ensuring alignment with Zone and global strategic objectives with P&L responsibility.
  • You drive modernization in management style, employee engagement, and operational efficiency.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have strong leadership experience within the healthcare industry, ideally in medical imaging (In-Vivo diagnostics).
  • You have deep understanding of the Romanian healthcare system, including its regulatory framework and key industry stakeholders.
  • You have proven success in strategic business development, P&L management, and operational leadership.
  • You are experienced in leading cultural transformation and team development in an evolving organization.
  • You ideally have In-Vitro experience, but it is not a prerequisite.
  • You possess excellent stakeholder management and ability to engage C-level executives.
