The Senior Brand & Consumer Insights Analyst will deliver strategic brand and business insights to inform and shape the marketing and sales strategies. The Analyst will play a critical role in the marketing team in establishing KPIs and identifying market trends.
Brand Analytics & Insights Generation
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources (market research, sales data, digital analytics, consumer trends) to generate actionable insights.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings clearly to key stakeholders.
- Track and measure brand, category, and portfolio performance, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Market Research & Consumer Insights
- Manage and execute qualitative and quantitative research projects to understand consumer behaviours, preferences, and trends.
- Leverage external research agencies, syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen, Euromonitor, IWSR), and internal tools to support business decision-making.
- Translate data-driven insights into strategic recommendations to enhance brand positioning, product innovation, and go-to-market strategies.
Business Performance & Competitive Intelligence
- Monitor competitors, category dynamics, and industry trends, providing intelligence on market movements.
- Conduct deep dives into pricing, promotion effectiveness, and market share analysis to support commercial decision-making.
- Partner with marketing and commercial teams to optimize brand and portfolio strategies based on data-driven insights.
Data Management & Visualization
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency by maintaining robust data collection and management processes.
- Develop and maintain visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for realtime tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and data accessibility for business users.
Candidate's Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, market research, or insights-related roles (preferably in FMCG, Spirits, or Consumer Goods industries).
- Experience working with market research platforms (e.g., Nielsen, IWSR, Euromonitor).
- Proven ability to translate complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization techniques.
- Experience with survey design, research methodologies, and statistical analysis.
- Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to synthesize data from multiple sources.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills to translate insights into business impact.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence key stakeholders with data-driven recommendations.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive in identifying new opportunities through data.
