Role Overview
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our corporate data networks and telecommunication systems, ensuring seamless business communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize network and telecom systems (Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, IP phones, etc.).
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Cisco voice and telephony solutions.
- Ensure network security and performance by following best practices and ITIL standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on projects and issue resolutions.
- Maintain documentation, policies, and compliance with industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5-8 years of experience in data and voice communication engineering.
- Relevant Cisco certifications preferred (CCNP, CCIE, etc.).
- Expertise in protocols like BGP, OSPF, QoS, SIP, and tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, and SolarWinds.
- Hands-on experience in complex network environments.
- Knowledge of IPSEC, RTP, SBC, and billing & recording integrations.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools administration (Microsoft 365, Zoom, Webex).
