Junior Project Manager

Viaplay Group
Sweden · Full-time · Not Applicable

At Viaplay Group, we entertain millions of people every day through our streaming services, radio networks, and TV channels. We believe in the power of content not just as a way of telling stories and touching lives, but also expanding worlds.

We’re looking for the best people to join us on our journey. Right now, we’re searching for a Junior Project Manager in our Stockholm office – are you ready to hit play on an exciting career change?

The Role

As a Junior Project Manager, you will be at the heart of planning and executing key internal events, ensuring that workshops, town halls, and hack weeks run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with various teams, acting as a central point of coordination, ensuring all logistics are in place, and driving engagement among participants.

In this role, you will be responsible for structuring and managing the different workstreams required for successful execution. Whether it’s preparing workshop materials, aligning with stakeholders, or setting up technical equipment for seamless presentations, you will play a crucial part in making each moment impactful.

Beyond the planning and execution phases, you will also track feedback, document outcomes, and identify areas for improvement to continuously refine and enhance the experience of internal events. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoy bringing people together through well-organized initiatives, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate internal events – Organize and manage logistics for workshops, town halls, and internal hack weeks, ensuring seamless execution
  • Lead and oversee workstreams – Manage different aspects of planning, including agenda setting, stakeholder alignment, and timeline tracking
  • Facilitate communication between teams – Act as a key point of contact, ensuring smooth collaboration between different departments and stakeholders
  • Prepare materials and documentation – Develop agendas, presentations, and supporting materials to ensure productive and engaging sessions
  • Oversee technical setup – Support with audio-visual setup for presentations, ensuring speakers and facilitators have the necessary tools for a smooth experience
  • Monitor and track success – Gather feedback, document key takeaways, and analyze outcomes to improve future ways of working
  • Manage logistics and vendor coordination – Handle venue arrangements, catering, and external suppliers when needed
  • Drive engagement and innovation – Continuously explore new ways to improve formats and experiences, fostering collaboration and creativity

What We’re Looking For

We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:

We are looking for an organized and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys bringing people together. You are detail-oriented yet able to see the bigger picture, ensuring that all elements, from logistics to engagement, come together seamlessly.

  • A natural coordinator – You have strong project management skills and can juggle multiple tasks while keeping everything on track
  • A problem-solver – You think on your feet and can quickly adapt when challenges arise, ensuring smooth experiences
  • A great communicator – You work well with different stakeholders, clearly articulating expectations, timelines, and needs. Fluent in English, Swedish is meritorious
  • Tech-savvy (or eager to learn) – While not required, familiarity with setting up audio-visual equipment for presentations is a plus
  • Driven by impact – You take ownership of your work and always look for ways to improve and innovate
  • Collaborative and hands-on – You thrive in a team environment and are always ready to roll up your sleeves when needed

What we offer you

  • We’ve got you covered! 30 days of paid vacation every year, an attractive pension and insurance scheme, and generous parental leave pay lift.
  • Your wellbeing matters. We provide you with various wellbeing initiatives including wellness allowance.
  • A safe space to grow and up-skill. Our learning culture puts you in the driver’s seat of your own development.
  • An innovative environment with Hack Days once a year. This week-long initiative allows you to think outside the box and deliver creative, technical solutions that (more often than not) go on to be implemented, either in our product or our ways of working.
  • Entertainment is what we love, and entertainment is what we do. So, unlimited access to Viaplay seems only fair for you to get to know the product – including serier & viewing events, new release movie rentals, linear channels and more.
