Responsibilities

  • Work fully remote on a cross-functional Agile team.
  • Actively participate in team meetings as needed (daily stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.).
  • Follow client-accepted guidelines on version control for all technical development.
  • Work on application design using development languages, as well as security and other tools.
  • Perform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Participate in code reviews.
  • Provide technical and architectural direction to improve existing code bases.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data and application software problems as assigned.
  • Operate under minimal supervision within a collaborative team environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Adequate Internet access and a quiet, dedicated workspace.
  • Proficiency in application design, development languages, security, and tools.
  • Skill and experience with the following:
    • React, Redux, JavaScript, TypeScript, and Single Page Application Frameworks (SPA);
    • Node.js, Webpack, npm;
    • Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing;
    • REST Service design;
    • CSS/Sass/Styled components;
    • NoSQL/non-relational and relational databases;
    • Source Control Systems (Git preferred);
    • Cloud development (Amazon Web Services preferred).
  • Ability to take a mockup and implement a functional website from the design.
  • Must have effective communication skills and the ability to provide guidance and training to peers in React application development.
Preferred

  • Experience with the following:
    • Docker/Kubernetes;
    • Java, Spring/Spring Boot;
    • Gitlab and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD);
    • Drupal 8+;
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS).
This is a 12 month Contract opportunity with our Kansas City, MO client. 100% Paid employee Medical/Dental Benefits, Paid time off, Paid Holidays, and 401(k)(with immediately-vested company match) available with TriCom during the contract period.
