8 + years of proven experience as Business Data Analyst

Three or more years of experience as a data analyst

Strong hands on experience in writing complex SQL

Good experience of developing current and target state functional architectures.

Analyze complex business requirements, perform gap analysis and collaborate with technical resources on solution proposals.

Define the documentation and tooling required to capture the target and current state functional architectures.

Communicate with the business and technical teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.

Oversee the development and validate the functionality of the end-product as per the requirement specifications.

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong spoken and written communication, and stakeholder management.

Hands on experience working in Agile projects.

Proficient in MS Office and JIRA for requirements elicitation and collaboration.

Experience leveraging complex data sets.

Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrate superior communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.

Strong, creative problem-solving skills (analyze and troubleshoot data to ensure accuracy)

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications including MS Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with visualization tools such as QlikSense, Tableau, relational database knowledge with SQL awareness and an understanding of the data lifecycle at financial institutions would be advantageous; is a plus.

Integrates in-depth data analysis knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices.

Demonstrates a good understanding of how data analytics teams and area integrate with others in accomplishing objectives.

Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies.

Analyzes factual information to make accurate judgments and recommendations focused on local operations and broader impacts.

Ability to analyze the data and provide update / results to stakeholders and users

Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results breaking down information in a systematic and communicable manner.

Demonstrates attention to quality and timeliness of service to ensure the effectiveness of the team and group.

Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

Collaborate with the team to determine and rank the needs of different business units.
