• Location: Remote
• Stage of the company: Early Stage.
• Compensation: At the moment nobody is receiving any compensation, as mentioned we are in early stages. Compensation will be in the form of performance-based incentives & profit sharing.

Responsibilities:

• Algorithm Design & Implementation: Lead the development, testing, implementation, deployment and optimization of quantitative trading algorithms, leveraging patterns in market behavior, machine learning, AI, and advanced statistical techniques to exploit market inefficiencies.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market data, market micro-structure, and alternative data sources to identify trading opportunities.
• Feature Engineering & Model Creation: Engineer features and create sophisticated machine learning models to enhance trading strategies.
• Backtesting & Live Trading: Conduct thorough backtesting of trading strategies and compare results with live trading performance to refine approaches.
• Analytical Computations: Contribute to and expand libraries of analytical computations to support market data analysis and trading activities.
• Exchange Simulation: Develop, augment, and calibrate exchange simulators to test and optimize trading strategies.
• Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, scalable, and secure technology infrastructure, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of quantitative trading strategies, machine learning, AI, and advanced statistical techniques. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, C++, Java, Solidity, Rust, and others.
• Cybersecurity: Strong background in cybersecurity principles and practices, with a proven ability to implement and maintain secure technology environments.
• Create all the tech Documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven Experience as a Qualitative Algorithmic Trader, particularly within the Cryptocurrency Market.
• Experience creating quantitative algorithmic trading strategies for crypto exchanges: Binance, Bybit, OKX and Bitget.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques such as auto-regression, auto-correlation, and Principal Component Analysis (PCA).
• Programming Skills: Advanced programming skills in Python, Rust, C#, C++, Java, Solidity, Rust with the ability to develop robust trading systems.
• Modeling Expertise: Familiarity with signal generation and statistical models, with a demonstrated ability to apply these in a trading context.
• Entrepreneurial Spirit: Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Extensive experience with cloud-based infrastructure, high-frequency trading systems, DeFi protocols, and data management platforms.
• Solid experience with API development, including RESTful APIs.
• Data Analysis Skills: Strong data-mining and analysis skills, including experience with large datasets and tick data.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing technology teams.
• Winner of hackathons (preferred but not mandatory)
• Educational Background (preferred but not mandatory): Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree from a top-tier university in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
• Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute a strategic technology vision that aligns with the overall goals of the firm.
• Previous experience working in a financial or fintech industry.
