Job Summary:

Tech Mahindra Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in Fixed Telco products in Australia, particularly NBN and related services. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving digital transformation initiatives, and optimizing telco operations. The role requires in-depth domain expertise in fixed telecommunications, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record of working with stakeholders across product, IT, and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements for Fixed Telco solutions.
• Lead business process analysis and reengineering efforts to enhance service delivery, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Work closely with NBN Co, Telstra Wholesale, Optus, and other major Australian telco providers to understand their service offerings and integration requirements.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Support the design and development of API integrations, OSS/BSS solutions, and network provisioning systems.
• Develop user stories, process flows, wireframes, and business cases to support decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between business and IT teams to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to support network performance improvements and service optimization.
• Lead stakeholder workshops and present key findings to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with telecom regulations, industry standards, and security best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the telecom industry, with a focus on Fixed Line services (NBN, Fibre, DSL, HFC, etc.).
• Strong understanding of NBN technology, service activation, order management, and network architecture.
• Experience working with OSS/BSS platforms, CRM systems, and telco billing solutions.
• Proficiency in API specifications, data mapping, and system integration methodologies.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with hands-on experience in Scrum/Kanban environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with C-level executives, product owners, and engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, data analysis tools, and reporting dashboards.
• Excellent documentation skills using JIRA, Confluence, Visio, and other BA tools.
• Familiarity with telecom regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in Australia.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Telstra Wholesale, Optus, or other Australian telecom providers.
• Technical background in cloud-based telco solutions, automation, and AI-driven analytics.
• Certifications such as CBAP, TOGAF, ITIL, or Agile (SAFe, Scrum Master, or Product Owner) are a plus.
