Enterprise Architect

We currently have a vacancy for a Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Your tasks:

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy for IT systems, IT governance policies in accordance with COBIT, ITIL, and EU IT guidelines and enforce technical standards for data exchange, security, and interoperability;
• Design and document reference architectures, patterns, and best practices, enterprise architecture models (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate);
• Assess IT architectures and provide recommendations for data interoperability frameworks;
• Support in risk assessment and mitigation strategies for IT projects, identify and mitigate security risks and provide guidance on business-IT alignment in taxation-related IT projects;
• Participate in service reviews, technical audits, and quality assessments;
• Monitor SLA compliance and performance metrics for external IT service providers;
• Design business process models using BPMN, ARIS, UML to support taxation workflows;
• Define API and service-oriented integration models to facilitate connectivity;
• Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices (e.g., NIS Directive, ISO 27001);
• Define secure authentication and access management mechanisms;
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and business continuity management;
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance frameworks in IT implementation;
• Provide strategic input on future IT system evolution and roadmap planning.

• Master degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 17 years;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in managing application servers (Oracle WebLogic or similar);
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in ORACLE and ORACLE VAULT, Cobit, ARIS;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in the design of data analytics solutions;
• Minimum 5 years of specific expertise in data visualization and BI solutions;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing and supporting applications which contain and manage very sensitive information;
• Strong experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman);
• Strong experience in IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks;
• Strong experience with Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, SMT) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban);
• Experience in microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices;
• Experience in d3.js and Rserve;
• Experience in GRC Risk Tool and Framework;
• Experience with quality assurance frameworks and IT service management (ITSM, ITIL);
• Experience in enterprise modelling tools (e.g., ArchiMate, Sparx EA);
• Proficiency in cloud architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid IT models, on-prem/cloud solutions;
• Proficiency in business process modelling standards (BPMN, UML, ArchiMate);
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and RESTful web services;
• Familiarity with EU regulations: GDPR, eIDAS, and taxation compliance requirements;
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC);
• Understanding of federated architectures and secure data exchange;
• PMP or Prince2, Agile Certifications as PMI-ACP or Scrum Master, PM2-agile;
• Excellent command of the English language.
