Salesforce Release Manager (M/F)

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Release Manager to join our Salesforce Center of Excellence team. This role is crucial in defining and executing all deployment operations across the pipeline—from the development sandbox, through integration (INT), user acceptance testing (UAT), non-regression (pre-production), up to the production environment, and back to all related sandboxes—using Copado and best practices in DevOps and CI/CD.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record of developing or deploying complex business projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute Salesforce deployments across the pipeline—from development sandbox through integration (INT), user acceptance testing (UAT), non-regression (pre-production), and production—using Copado.
• Verify quality gates and ensure sufficient test evidence and code review before progressing to the next environment.
• Provide support to developers in resolving deployment issues, merge conflicts, and offer guidance on creating assets or managed packages.
• Utilize Copado to manage deployment pipelines, ensuring efficient continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) while applying DevOps best practices to enhance deployment efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product owners, architects, business analysts, and developers, to define release planning and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Document deployment processes and best practices to ensure continuity and continuous improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest Salesforce features, acquisitions, and releases to leverage new capabilities for enhanced functionality.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Salesforce development, with at least 2 years focused on release management.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce technologies including Salesforce Platform Developer certification, Copado / GIT version control or equivalent, experience with Jira is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile environment with a solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple requests and internal clients.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages (French or Dutch) is a plus.
• Possess strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and engage in continuous learning.
