Senior Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain advanced security solutions to safeguard organizational assets.
Create and refine security scenarios and proactively propose improvements in security systems.
Establish and oversee real-time monitoring systems to identify, respond to, and mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with IT and development teams to embed security best practices into the SDLC.
Support SOC analysts in addressing incidents through effective use of SIEM tools.
Maintain and evolve the technology stack related to security, ensuring continuous improvement.
Document complex technical processes and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Carry out additional tasks assigned by management in line with role responsibilities.
Contribute to original work as defined under copyright law, relevant to the position.

What We’re Looking For:

Hands-on experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solutions, especially Microsoft Sentinel.
Proficiency in Azure Data Explorer (ADX) and Kusto Query Language (KQL), including data collection rules and mapping.
In-depth knowledge of M365 security toolsets.
Strong programming and scripting abilities.
Advanced troubleshooting skills in complex network environments, particularly relating to SIEM data pipelines.
Proven track record in Use Case development for security environments.
Databricks and Apache Spark expertise for scalable data processing (Databricks as the primary tool).
Solid experience designing enterprise-level data platforms, ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
Familiarity with real-time and streaming data technologies (Azure Stream Analytics, Event Hubs, etc.).
Deep understanding of Terraform, Linux, and DevOps practices including CI/CD, Kubernetes/AKS, and Docker.
Knowledge of data governance principles, ensuring compliance, security, and proper data lineage.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to set direction for data engineering teams.
